• Dr Ujjal Barua has competed his MBBS from Comilla Medical College and FCPS (Urology) from BCPS.
• At present, he has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at Chittagong Medical College Hospital for the last four years.
• He took his fellowship training in General Surgery and Urology at Dhaka Medical College Hospital for seven years.
• Dr. Ujjal Barua has a special interest in advanced Endo-urology, Laparoscopic Urology, and Reconstructive Urology. He has performed more than two thousand PCNL and more than two hundred complex urethral constructive surgery individually.
• He took advanced Endo-Urology training at MPUH, Ahmedabad, India and Prostate cancer management training at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore.
• He is a life member of BMA, BAUA, USI, AUA, SOSB, SLSB, and SIU. Now he is serving as Assistant Scientific Secretary of the Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
