• Dr. A B M Tofazzal Hossain obtained his MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College, MCPS (ENT) degree from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, and DLO degree from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to medical science in the fields of education, clinical service, research, innovation, publication, and leadership, he received Membership from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Fellowship (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. He received a training certificate in advanced ear surgery from the world-renowned House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, California, USA.
• Currently he is working as a Consultant in the ENT and Head-Neck Surgery department of Evercare Hospital Chattogram. Previously, he served as a Professor in the ENT department and Dean of the School of Medicine at the Central Asian University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He also served as an ENT Specialist and Associate Professor of ENT in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Sabah and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Malaysia for 12 years. He was also appointed as an ENT Specialist in a Tertiary Hospital by the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia for 3 years. He worked in the ENT and Head-Neck Surgery department of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka (now Evercare Hospital Dhaka) from 2006 to 2010.
• Dr. Tofazzal performs all ENT surgeries with special care and expertise. He is accustomed to performing most ENT surgeries using Endoscopes, Microscopes, LASER and other modern computerized equipment. These include FESS, MLS, EMLS, LASER tonsillectomy, coblation tonsillectomy, etc. As an ENT Consultant, his main goal is to always ensure safe medical service and patient’s satisfaction.
• Dr. Tofazzal Hossain has successfully completed several research projects with the support of foreign research funds. He has published more than 30 research-based articles in international medical journals. He is also a regular reviewer of several international Scopus-indexed journals. He has won gold medals and other awards in various international competitions for his innovations in medical teaching and diagnostic aids. He has received multiple Academic Excellence Awards and Dean's Awards from the University of Sabah, Malaysia, for his clinical services, teaching, research, innovation, publications, and leadership. He has successfully organized several international seminars. He has participated in numerous international conferences as an invited speaker and participant.
• He can speak five foreign languages besides Bengali and English. As an event doctor, he has participated and served in various international events. Providing healthcare services through medical camping in remote areas is one of his hobbies.
