- Dr. Somen Chowdhury Completed his MBBS in 2004. He then pursued advanced specialization, earning his MD in Neurology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He also holds credentials from the American Academy of Neurology and the American College of Physicians.
- Before joining Evercare Hospital Chattogram, Dr. Somen Chowdhury worked as a Consultant in Neurology at Apollo Imperial Hospital. He also served as the Head of the Neurology Department at Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College (CMOSHMC). Additionally, he held consultant positions at Chattogram Maa Shishu O General Hospital, BGC Trust Medical College & Ibrahim Iqbal Memorial Hospital, and Chittagong Diabetic General Hospital.
- Dr. Somen has undergone extensive training in various fields, including Neurology and Internal Medicine, and has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students in various Medical college. He has authored several publications in both national and international journals, contributing significantly to the field of Neurology.
- He is a member of the European Academy of Neurology, the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and Society of Neurologists of Bangladesh.
- His areas of clinical focus include stroke, epilepsy, headache, low back pain, neck pain, dementia, paralysis, sleep disorders, and other neurological conditions.
